Thing 1 and Thing 2

Well it looks like I may have created a blog. It still needs a lot of work, but it's a start! I can't remember what the URL is so I will have to figure out how to find that. It took several tries before I was able to find one that was available. I know the beginning is gingerbreadcrossing, but I am not sure what comes after that.

I am participating in 23 Things because I want to learn how to use all of the technology that I hear others talking about. I am not as internet savvy as I would like to be so I thought this would be a good opportunity for me to become more familiar with the programs that are out there. I am also hoping to incorporate some of the things learned in this course into the first grade curriculum. After watching the video and reading the article, I feel that I am in way over my head! I am excited to learn and feel pretty confident that at the end of the 23 things I will not be as overwhelmed as I am right now.
